THE SOFT OPENING

On Sunday, March 30, 2008, the Rendón family christened their new cantina with a soft opening, featuring guest Executive Chef, Jay Murray, of Boston's Grill 23 & Bar. (www.grill23.com)

While Jay and Carolina ran the kitchen and the grill, Roberto played the role of overwhelmed host, meeting and greeting both old friends and new, with his perpetual hospitality.
